Drawing/Imaging
Shapes
Process
Part 1: Charcoal and Newspaper pad drawing
This was the first time we drew something in class. It was completely observation and took me time to get comfortable.
Part 2: Shape Exploration
After this I created closed paths for the line drawing of the objects using adobe illustrator to give a sense of depth and an active surface. Unfortunately, I didn’t understand what the professor expected and turned in a completely misunderstood assignment.
Part 3: Final shadows
This part took me the longest to get to the final result. I didn’t understand how to use the gradient tool and how the shadows need to fall. However, with the help of the professor and some YouTube tutorials I finally got the hang of it. Making the background two different shades surely added depth and could see the shadows falling too.
