Process
Part 1: Image Search
I chose two pictures from google. One was an aerial view of a mountain and the other was a microscopic plant cell.
Part 2: Studies in Sketchbook
For this step I chose the plant cell image and went on making different sketches to figure out what medium I wanted to use.
Part 3: Final Drawing
For this final step I decided to change the colors of the original plant cell image. I wanted to play around and not replicate the original one. For this I chose markers. During the class review, someone pointed out that there were some parts of it that were missing, and Anne suggested that I should make a collage.
While making the collage, I thought of changing the colors once again. This time I chose colors that made me uncomfortable when put together. I wanted the pieces of collage to stand out.
