Color Project
Part 1: Color Composition
The color hue that I created got deleted by mistake.
Part 2: Transparency
Changing the value of the shape created a sense of light and dark which makes one shape look like it is behind the other or vice versa.
Part 3: Picking a Pattern for the color project
For this step I wanted to choose a pattern that is related to me either culturally or personally but when I did my research, these patterns were very difficult to make because of the intricate detailing. I spoke to Anne about it and she wanted me to do the same but focus on maybe one part of the pattern and not the whole. I chose truck art for my pattern. It is a popular regional decoration in South Asia especially Pakistan. it is often seen on trucks and are as jingle trucks by Americans.
Part 4: Final Color Pattern
This is what I made with the pattern. The colors are different from what truck art looks like. I chose them because they remind me of spring and have a soothing effect on me. The middle row of each one has transparency.
