For my final project, I have decided to do a series of photography and play around with the normality of objects or scenes in rooms and transform them into strange and abnormal situations-surrealism. For my prototype, I photographed a classmate in the bathroom sitting and using her laptop on a desk as a work space, and with her face expression you can tell she is uninterrupted and concentrated on what she’s doing, which seems natural however it is staged. This is what I intend to do with the scenes, make them seem natural but actually staged, and also incorporate all the crucial aspects of photography, like light. As seen in the photograph the light also plays a big part of assembling the photograph as it is concentrated on her and what she is doing. This is just a rough idea, incorporating the elements I want my photographs to have.
