Time Frame: Final Experimental Video

Final Experimental Video

For our final project in Time: Frame, I made a video focusing on memory and loop holes within memory in which our personal truths become tainted.  One phenomenon of memory in particular that I based this film off of is called jamais vu, also known as the opposite of deja vu and can be described as the sensation of doing something that you know you had done before, but this action feels foreign or unfamiliar to you.  Through a repetition of clips, interjection of disjointed imagery, and the use of transit as a visual representation for a train of thought or stream of consciousness, I hoped to capture this message.
