Is there plastic in your bottled water?

Originally researched by Orb Media, this BBC article highlighted that an average of 10 plastic particles larger than the width of a human hair can be found per litre of water from major brands.  It was discovered using a special dye which sticks to the surface of the plastic and causes them to shine so that they can be seen. They discovered relatively large particles in some bottles , in numbers of to 1000 particles, others contained no trace at all. We need to be concerned for the long term effect that this could have on our bodies and what it means for our general health.
