The man in these pictures is Mustafa. He’s the owner of the bodega down my road but on Friday night, he was my uber driver. He told me about his son who is in jail and only calls him when he needs money, but he still works multiple jobs to support him happily. This fell in line with my notion that home is anywhere you build a life for you and your loved ones.
