In the first frame for project 2, I wanted to display the past, present and future state of a relationship. I used colors, symbols and reduced photographs to display emotion. I wanted the simplicity of the images and composition to draw emphasis towards the subject’s expression and their relation to color and symbol. I took this approach from the first frame to create nine more. I decided to use salon style for my layout. This approach represents the nonlinear flow of relationships and emotion. In addition, the black background provided an environment that made the bright colors come to life.
