  1. Is Grand Central Station part of your daily commute?
  • No,  it is not. 
  1. When was the first time you came to Grand Central Station?
  • Way long ago, probably before you were born!
  1. Being a commuter, what differences have you noticed since the first time you came here?
  • It has become much cleaner, and the ceiling has become much nicer, none of it was like that before. 
  1. What is the most frustrating aspect of navigating through Grand Central Station?
  • How overcrowded it can get. 
  1. How do tourists affect your commute?
  • They add to the crowd just by standing around
  1. What is the main distinguishing feature that makes a tourist recognizable?
  • When they ask questions, just a bit ago people came to ask us where the bathrooms are. That’s an idea, Grand Central should put more signs for bathrooms.

  • No, it is not. 
  1. How often do you come to Grand Central Station?
  • A few times a week. 
  1. Has your view on Grand Central Station changed since the first day you came through here and how?
  • Yes, it has significantly improved visually and commercially, the new Apple Store. 
  1. What is the most frustrating aspect of navigating through Grand Central Station?
  • When it’s overcrowded. 
  1. How do tourists affect your daily commute?
  • Tourists don’t really affect my daily commute much. 
  1. What is the main distinguishing feature that makes a tourist recognizable?
  • Their pace, the way they dress, their accessories.

  • No, it is not. 
  1. How often do you come to Grand Central Station?
  • A few times a week. 
  1. Has your view on Grand Central Station changed since the first day you came through here and how?
  • Yes it has changed, redone and much nicer. 
  1. What is the most frustrating aspect of navigating through Grand Central Station?
  • Commuting times, rush hour. 
  1. How do tourists affect your daily commute?
  • Tourists don’t really affect my daily commute much. 
  1. What is the main distinguishing feature that makes a tourist recognizable?
  • Colored socks, men wearing colored socks and sneakers with bright clothing.

  • No, but it is the kids first time. We are here on holiday. 
  1. What is the most overwhelming part about being in Grand Central Station?
  • The roof, the high ceiling, and the amount of tracks and platforms. 
  1. As you’ve been walking around the city, is there a specific type of shoe that you like the best?
  • Trainers.

  • Trainers.
