Space/Materiality – Built Environment

For the past 2 weeks, the class has been working on a project based on the construction of a shoe: A built environment for your foot. By basing the final sculpture on a shoe of our own,  we had to build the structure out of wire and integrate it in an architectural environment previously designed with Sketch up. This last element had to be created within a series of limitations and guidelines given by one of our peers – our client – through a questionnaire regarding their desired building.

The following pictures display the process of creating, as well as the observations made by the end of the project.
