works that creatively inspire me: studio

  1. Politician Nicolas Maduro:

Most of my art consists of political and social commentary about what my country, Venezuela, has become after the dictatorship of president Nicolas Maduro. I use my art as a way to inform the world about the humanitarian crisis thats been going on in my country since Maduro illegitimately became president. His actions on censoring the media against him in my country have inspired me to freely express my feelings towards him and his political views once I moved to New York.

2. Artist Freddie Mercury:

Lead singer of the rock band “Queen”, Freddy Mercury, has been an inspiration for me throughout years. His performance on stage, lyrics, and ability of being who he truly was despite social norms set during his generation, has broaden my view on what art truly is. His uniqueness and fearlessness on breaking social norms made him the legend he is today.

3. My Grandmother:

My grandmother has been a great inspiration for my artistic career. She is a self taught fine artist who every time she felt sad would grab a canvas, brush, and paint and would spend hours painting a beautiful landscape. She not only taught me to paint, but also to cope with my feelings through art.
