For my Int. Studio – Sys & Strategies project I explored various issues city wise, nation wise, international wise, and planetary wise. Of the five different issues I explored, I decided to create a multimedia piece of the one that I thought was more relevant. I’ve been observing the amount of plastic water bottles people use in the university, in the city, and worldwide, and the numbers are outrageous. After doing some research, I realized that worldwide the numbers are even worse and its affecting our planet greatly. I feel passionate about this issue because there are numerous alternatives for a plastic water bottle. You could easily use a reusable water bottle, or bottled water in paper or plant based plastic. My multimedia piece shows interesting facts about the use of water bottles from neighborhood scale to planetary scale
