1. What was new to you in Shift Studio/ what is one thing that you learned that was new to you last Wednesday?
– That we have to make a website to post our assignments.
What is one thing that you found interesting last Wednesday?
– The really comfortable and breathable environment created for the students.
Did you do any “below the water, iceberg investigating?” – if so, what?
– No I did not, I think due to the class period that day focusing mainly on instructions for canvas and the learning portfolio there wasn’t much room for creative thought. At least for me.
What is one question you have from last Wednesday’s class?
– When will we start making art?
What is one noticing you made about the Essay 1: Ways of Seeing – Berger reading?
– I liked how he took the subject of something normally so one dimensional to the average person and made it into one of the most complex ideas to talk about.
What is one question you have from the reading/ about the reading?
– Why is it such a holy sacred view of art changed so dramatically?
What connections have you made between last Wednesday’s class and any other class you are taking? (Referring to content – or structure.)
– Mainly that our assignments between this class and seminar connect, and we use canvas in every class.
