Three Photo Series

For the Narrative photograph the aperture was set at f/4.5, the shutter speed was set at 1/100, and the ISO was set at ISO 3200.

For the Long Exposure photograph the aperture was set at f/18, the shutter speed was set at 30.0 s, and the ISO was set at ISO 100.

For the Capturing Motion photograph the aperture was set at f/3.5, the shutter speed was set at 1/200, and the ISO was set at ISO 3200.

These settings made it possible to capture the requirements for each image. In order to create the long exposure, it was integral that the camera stay very still for all 30 seconds of the exposure, while the capturing motion photograph was hand-held and taken at a high shutter speed.

Time is visible in each frame through the motion or lack thereof in each shot.
