For our Integrative Studio final, we had to create a work of art based on border crossings. I decided to create a project on literal border crossing. I chose to integrate important symbols of the countries Singapore, India, and the United States. Those symbols being the flags of each country and the national animals of each country. I decided to create a hybrid animal from the three national animals. I then used those animals on the flag and arranged each flag in different ways.
This project was meant to be more of a personal project, as these countries are the 3 I grew up in and each has influenced me in a particular way. I decided to create each flag in a unique way and each one is based off the structure of one of the three.
