The method I chose to approach creating my sound poem with was erasure. Through this method, I was able to extract and emphasize words or phrases in an article that came together to form the poem. This process was orderly in the sense that the words chosen reflected a clear theme, yet disorderly in the sense that it was spontaneous and shys away from communicating straight-forward statements. My sound poem serves as a testament to the personal growth I have experienced in recent years, particularly during the transition currently taking place in my life. Its purpose is to reflect themes of evolution and prosperity.
