Fashion industry causes the environment pollution. To protect environment, fashion industry has to stop wasting. Every year, fast and temporary fashion trend waste many clothing and materials. Burning outdated clothes to ash takes longer process and causes more pollution rather than producing clothes.

I have to decide what kind of stereotype what I have for the project. The problem was I have to clarify the stereotype. During last week, the improvement what I development was I decide the stereotype. However, still, I have to power phrase and organize the idea because it was not clear. Next week, I have to think more detail about the final project and clarify the idea to develop.
During the critic, the peer said it was a useful and exciting concept for development. Then they recommend making set not only one. Then the professor recommends writing the design proposal to clarify the idea for the final project.
What I have to focus on the project is research more about the social problems related to the high-end fashion. I have to find and document the connection of environment pollution and style. Also, I have to research more about the material what I use for the project.
It will clarify the idea that what I have and finish the research to support my general opinion. It will take a week to define and organize the concept for the final product.

IS1 – Intro to Research, final project: [your project name inserted here]
The stereotype I am exploring in this project is criticizing the fashion trend.
Every year and every season fashion trend is to keep changing and changing. We called fast fashion. Fast fashion garments keep coming out seasonally quickly. However, after the trend, it creates lots of waste because people not to wear them anymore and just throw them out. Also while it creates there are lots of environmental pollution.
I research more what can I do with fused plastic bag. Then fused the plastic bag to create sample fabric. Also, I finalized the statement
What I worked on last week was finalized the statements and start to fuse the plastic for the sample. Then calculate the plastic bag how many that I need to create the bag. The challenges I ran into were, patterning the bag because it was my first time to make them. Also, it was little challenge to arrange the concept that I want to bring environmental pollution concept to our bag. The way I solved this problem/dilemma was to arrange the idea that I want to bring in to the bag. From the last sample, I create from the previous week; I learn when I iron the plastic bag in a long time, It starts to crack seems like the environmental system start destroying. What I need to do next is to learn more about creating the bag
What I heard in critique was the idea has the potential to develop. However, I have to clarify the statement because the concept was enough to tell from the object that I want to create, but it is too broad. It was helpful because it helps me to state the problem.
I have to research how to create the bag. Then studying more about how the fast fashion affect to environmental problem
I expect to research how to make the bag in two days. Then create a pattern about the bag taking three days. Then final sewing the all bag takes three days to finish it. Maybe I have to be quick to end little early.
Reflection
The project was very useful and had many things to learn about. First of all, I learn how the research is important to prove and show my artwork. Also, it was very useful to have a skill for creating the art piece. It was little challenge to managing the time for this project because my thought progress went slowly to decide the statement what I wanted to express. When I finalize my thought about the project, I only had a week to finish the work. However, that was a meaningful time to learn plan about the project. Creating a prototype was also an important step when we plan for the project. The Genius Grant proposal was helpful for making the Studio project because learn how the investment going and try for creating the statement clearly to producing the art. What I learned about myself as an artist/designer during this project was developing the idea to creating the final piece.
