Below is an assignment for my Drawing and Imaging class in which I was tasked to find a drawing by Luca Cambiaso (artist), copy it on a 9 x 12 frame, then re-draw it on another 9 x 12 frame but in a reimagined form (the figures could be in different positions, and even the background could be different, but the conceptual significance of the drawing should still be the same). I chose to copy Cambiaso’s drawing of Dante and Virgil passing over the Sea of Traitors and then re-imagine it on a 9 x 12 frame on the right of the paper I used in my drawing pad.
