Me: An Operating Manual (draft)

PART 1 – BROCHURE CONTEXT

PART 2 – PROCESS REFLECTION

Through the process of making this draft, I realized that I’ve changed a lot on my vision, reflection, and self-identity.

In the beginning, I would focus on the surface of the vision as contributing the ideals on constructing aesthetic-driven elements and form only short-term visionary appealed objects. The angle of this perspective interested me because I value the uniqueness significantly. However, after a few weeks of classes, I realize how narrow my vision is to just focus on the outer layer. The lack of considering the influences and meanings of motivation on creation would become a serious obstacle to the development of my visions. Thus, I decided to infuse the idea of the connection to the world which would broaden my horizons on considering designing and creating objects.

Secondly, by learning self-reflection through related articles and assignments. I learned the reflections that initiated from different perspectives and how essential this process is in our lives. The self-reflection is not just sorting out the problems and difficulties I’ve experienced and overcame but also the outcome of what I learned from the self-mirroring. In a calm stage, when I get the time to spend time with myself, analyze my feelings, intuitions, goals, and obstacles.

Lastly, this whole procedure gives me a very powerful impact that helps sustain my mental stability. The right reflection would also improve balancing my expectations and movements that work correspondingly with them.
