My project’s name is called Tanhua, which is the name of the theater I found located in Doyers street.
My story is about a Chinese girl got lost in China town then she accidentally walk in this theater that found she went back to 90s and realize there had a girl look exactly look like her who was a famous actress during that time.
I did this collage to combine the past, the present, and the future of my story together. I painted two separate masks in past and future to represent the look of a Chinese theater actress. I did the photography collage of the present of the girl to show the life in China town.
