A culture like many other words brings out many different meanings. It more or else depends on the context humans put it in or varied perspectives. With observations, I found it also varies according to time and collective similarities of people it is used by or used to describe.

Being brought up in an Indian family I was taught how not touching an elder’s feet or calling them by their first names is uncultured whereas in Western society it is not true.

“Culture was a state of being to be attained, synonymous with civilization.”

We still use culture to describe civilizations and traditions. Uncultured and uncivilized are the two words that can come up fencing each other in many conversations which points out how culture is used to differentiate between groups and institutions.

In today’s world, a lot of artists and philosophers use culture to describe their astonishing developments perhaps now it is used as a method to prove facts and draw conclusions.

It is really amazing how a simple word can have complex uses and so many meanings. We can define or comment on art, literature, religion, state of mind, lifestyle and many other things by the use of this one word which has been adapted communally by mankind.

What is even more interesting is what we can do when we put together different aspects from varied cultures about the same topic. The amount of information that can be compiled is massive which in the fashion industry acts as a very strong pursuit.
