For the part 2 of my montage progression project, we were asked to make the montages into an accordion-styled book. In my book I used texts from Alyssa Gaw’s poem “Lost then Found”, which I thought had fit the theme of my montages well. As my project portrays the idea of one being lost in the crowd, and eventually regaining confidence and finding one’s self back. For both the cover and the inner content of my book, I chose to layout the text correspondingly to the ways in which the red rays on the montages are being laid out. For some key words in the poem such as “Lost” or “Found”, I made the words italic so they are distinctive. On the cover I also made the typeface of title, “Lost then Found” bold, so that it is more noticeable and stands out more.
