Exquisite Corpse with Cecily in Class

This exercise is really fun to do. My partner and I would fold a paper into three even parts. Both of us drew the first part of the papers and we traded paper to draw the second part. We would leave marks that we want to make the connection between parts. At last, we traded the paper again and finished the last part.

I did not think much, but I was aware that I should draw some upper part of an object in the first part. When I drew the middle part or third part of the paper, I tried to imagine what those mark can become. It was really hard to think of, but at the same time was really easy because anything can fit in it. I started with random lines that match the connection just to see what my unintentional act can make. I thought our collaboration did not work out because it did not make sense and parts are not really connected. It was also really funny to see how the final drawing looks like. Sometimes, random drawing or unintentional act can create great art. I realize that Cecily likes using pencil and she likes to focus on details.
