I wanted to present a work that was something related and meaningful to me instead of creating an unsystematic artwork. I created the Empire State Building as it is one of the most popular “it” places of New York City, — the city I have always dreamed of living in. With the use of similarity from the Gestault Theory, I used the ellipse tools as the background then the use squares and triangle as I made the building narrower from the bottom to the top. I used the colors going from dark to light it represents the top of the Empire State Building being covered by the clouds.
