Sensing the Past

In this video I use faces to tell my story and compare Singapore to New York. My Friends and the people that I meet are what shape me and change who I become today. A big part of sight is seeing peoples faces. A face can tell an extremely complicated story and reflect emotions that words cannot. Using faces I hope to express how I feel towards the people I have met in Singapore and contrast that with the people I have met in New York. All of these differences between the two places but in the end I am still me. The quickness of the images is made to represent how quickly life changes as well as how quickly someone may be in your life and then gone.  In my seminar paper I use imagery to help depict all the same people but with words instead of my face. I feel like its an interesting comparison to compare how emotion is evoked in both these projects. Images created in your head and seeing an image and if these two forms of description can create the same emotion for someone. They are similar in the way I describe people very quickly and giving you a quick snapshot of how I feel and an image.
