My Cohesion photo essay consists of multiple different people with different backgrounds. I wanted to create an environment where the viewer can get different perspectives of different cultures and people. I enjoy talking and getting to know people everyone is unique in there own way, the elderly have so much wisdom that our generation can highly benefit from.  Approaching subjects at first was very nerve wracking, in the summer of 2017 I took a photography class and it was so fun! This time around approaching subjects is actually a lot easier and fun , I enjoy talking to people!

I think what makes a good and successful cohesive photo essay is one the tells a story or who you are as a photographer and person and the story behind the photo.  Being able to capture both will only inspire others to do the same and expand their senses of wonder and imagination. From approaching subjects I’ve learned that  being kind and just having a kind smile will help them become comfortable with you. I’ve also learned that everyone is different and yet we are the same.
