For my “add value” project I decided to use a broken friendship bracelet I got from my best friend. The best friend bracelet was a typical Parisian tourist bracelet. To remake it as well as add value I decided to make it in to a bag strap. By doing so I used more expensive material as well as objects with sentimental value to add both material value as well as emotional value. I also added functional value to the bag strap, seeing that the bracelet was broken and didn’t serve its purpose anymore by making it into something new it gained value as a functional product again.
