Ideally, our memorial would be placed at the entrance of an international university. This location would serve to signify all the objects and their memories that are left behind when the students leave their countries to join the university. The cardboard boxes would be replaced by a more sturdy material such as aluminum. This project was created to showcase some of the emotions we associate with objects. When viewing our memorial, you will see three boxes. Each of the boxes has a slot cut out, allowing the viewer to feel its contents in addition to having holes through which to
smell. Inside, we have placed objects that we have strong feelings of nostalgia for.
