Although these people are still around today we have allowed a cultural shift. I see that this is still a time for change and movement. I also see now more than ever before the wrongdoings and miss teaching we imposed on children. When young girls turn on the radio they hear how the Olympic gymnast they might have aspired to be was sexually abused. If you attended school in America you have been conditioned to know what to do in cases of a school shooting. When you turn on the television you see that our president saying pu**y, or referring to third world countries in need as shit holes. Take a break, scroll through Instagram where you can see Kim Kardashians retouched naked photos that ensure poor self-esteem and the objectification of women. Yes, people are trying to make a change and I see that it does inspire me as an educated young adult, but I am concerned about what kind of an impact this is making on America’s youth.
