For this project, I started off with focusing on culture as I am from India but have travelled the world and lived in 3 different countries. I chose to mainly focus on different countries and culture and how languages has combined everyone from different cultures to communicate with each other. I managed to narrow down my focus and which was to focus on a phrase and how can it be written in different languages.
After a lot of researching and thinking, I chose to focus on “I Love You” in 10 different languages. I aimed to write “I Love You” in all 10 languages and chose to present it as a performance. I chose to do a live performance as I wanted to present different cultures and traditions and how we all are combined and communicate with each other through a single language.
I used the board and set a timer for myself for 1 minute and used it to write “I Love You” in 10 languages. Although, I had managed to only write “I Love You” in 9 languages.
