For this final project, I wanted to try different style and combine two different elements together to produce something different. While I grew up in India, during the first half of my childhood, I used to dance and specifically it was Kathak. Kathak is a type of dance that consists a lot of hand gestures that is known as mudras. I wanted to apply the idea of pop art and mudras put together to produce a gif. For this project, I had five drawings that I did using Illustrator and Photoshop and to combine it together as a gif, I used Photoshop. It took me about an hour for each drawing and it took me twenty five minutes to combine them on photoshop.
After showing my teacher the first draft, I received some feedback and one of them was to try and play with different colours so I chose to add different colours on the background. I added colours that represent pop-art to showcase a contrast in different elements.
