I have always been brought up in a family with loads of cultural values and traditions that we have always followed, mehndi is also one of the traditional aspect of being an Indian. Mehndi has always intrigued me and attracted me a lot. The traditional, intricate shapes in different forms seem visually so appealing.

I like the fact that these patterns represent a culture, a tradition and a family that is bound together with love. As these patterns are a mixture of geometric, organic, structural and many more patterns, they seem to connect with me eternally. I would like to know more about each detailed patterns and how they have a relation to the culture and what each shape can mean.

The other two images allow me to relate back to patterns and how intricate they are. I love looking at patterns and being able to discover creating styles and forms through patterns and colour pallets.
