KEY TO SECRET GARDENS OF PARIS Overall I think the aesthetic of the books works well as a 19th century ‘modern’ children’s book. I think we managed to make it engaging and visual satisfying for the viewer. Through the use of of making it a colouring in book and through the use of ink jet translucent paper, in between the pages of photographs of the actual gardens that the illustrations were made from. I think the story line and narrative of the book make it more clear that it is book about navigating the secret gardens of Paris. Also the first page of the book being a map implies that the book is a journey through the secret gardens of Paris. 1 ST PAGE
