This is the original Self Portrait
I used Adobe Illustrator to create the vector shapes to form the self portrait.
These are the regular prints where they are printed onto one of my favorite piano music score, Kiss of Death
I decided to add color pencil because color pencil is one of my favorite art utensils.
For this print, I liked how the entire image is covered in blue, creating a sense of emptiness, thus, I wrote words that are representative of the feeling of emptiness.
Overall, the risograph experience wasn’t the most optimal because it took multiple attempts to get the master mask correct, and the solid blue prints were the errors, yet, they came out as one of the prints because of how different they are from the rest.
