I have never worked with wire in this capacity – creating a 3-D object – and so it was a challenging process for me. I quickly learned tricks to tighten and secure my holds, and as I went it got easier technically. I enjoyed the process of weaving wire the most, as it helped to create the cylindrical shape and feel that I needed to replicate the bottle. While I did enjoy the process by the end, I don’t think it is a medium that I would want to explore more in the future, as the wire stabbed me and drew blood numerous times.
