I’m a Chinese student that has been in America for three years.
One year in Texas, Two years in LA.
And… What’s next?
I think “don’t ever miss out New York”.
About me
I came from a big city in China, called Guangzhou, really near to HongKong (in case you don’t know GZ). I’m proud of my city because of its combination of different culture and its abundant opportunities that has offered to me. It has broaden my view as a teenager and makes me a open-minded person with a warm heart.

One thing has to mention is the dim-sum in Guangzhou, it’s one of the best food all around the world.

Before I got into Parsons, I was already an international student studying in LA. I stayed there for two years and graduated from a local high school. There, I had my great memories and made great connections with the people around. It was truly a city full of passion, art, inspiration and with Hollywood being right next to my home I also discovered my interests using different kinds of medias to express my artistic view.

I became a filmmaker and had my own production team that was set up by me and my friends. We made a couple of short films and music videos.

It was truly a great experience and had also opened a new world for me. Therefore, I know art can be many kinds, not only drawing, music or movie, but also any kinds of expression incorporating artistic views.
It was about the beginning of my Senior year, I started to draw and find passion in this special way of creation.
As my life moves on, I also know I want something new and challenging. My favorite saying was
“Always get out of your comfort zone”.
So, here I am with my all my passion and power, really to sail on to this new journey.
