Thesis 2, Part 3

Writing Assignment, answer the following:

  1. Who is your audience? The target audience for Wildberries is middle schoolers. But the grander audience goes for high-school teenagers who are around their sophomore and junior years.
  2. How well do you know your audience? I have taught elementary and middle school students various topics such as: digital animation, electronic engineering, 3D modeling with Maya, game design with Unity, and several other areas. During my time working with them, I have play-tested two games with them that I’ve created, ATTENTION, and The Knock-Out Punch. I learned from the way they played those games what kinds of features attract them to play more or invest more energy towards.
  3. How well have you tested your idea with them? I have not showed my old students the new project yet. I do have access to my younger cousins who fit in the grander audience of the high-school students, but also have not shown them yet at the time of this writing.
  4. Who is your community of practice? It is animators and programmers in NYC. I had connections to some from my time at at the Global Game Jam last year, but I should refresh the contact list.
