Over the course of six weeks two other students and I created a community system for our core studio class. This system aimed to help at two major problems, homelessness and the pollution of plastic.
The solution to this problem was to melt down plastic and create building blocks from a mold. These brick stack onto each other and offer storage place inside and on the outside plants would serve as insulation.
Each member builds their own house and is aiming to reach housing and employment with the help of a support team. The project was presented in the form of a brochure that folded out and displayed a map of the potential area.
