In these days, I have collected a lot of trash, which consists of abundant water plastic bottles, plentiful food containers, chopsticks, and other innumerable daily supplies. Since I really like to drink water and grab some food from stores, I daily used around four plastic bottles, about two food containers a day, and approximately two spoons or chopsticks every day. Besides eating, I also have many pieces of wastepaper, tissue paper and uncountable litter. Before this project, I honestly was not aware of how much trash, especially those non recycles ones, I have used per day. Nevertheless, when I started collecting those trash on the very first day, I suddenly realized it is a really large amount of garbage that I have produced for only one day. In my case, I think I should prepare my own water bottle, food container, and tableware to substitute those non recycled plastic goods. In addition, I also hope scientists can invent material that can easily be recycled, so that we can use that kind of material in different purpose. Furthermore, I also observed there are still lots of shops using paper recipe, which means numerous trees will be cut. It is pretty bad for our environment, and is also one of the main reasons to cause global warming. Stores should use e-recipe to save our natural resource. This activity leads me feel ashamed and realize we should be pay more attention on this issue. We, human beings, are very selfish, and do not really respect and do not consider other animals’ lives. We only care about our own lives. As I recalled, I found out “Global Warming” and recycle these kinds issue has been advocated for years and years. However, I do not see any single person around me has really focus on this significant issue. People only care about their convenience over their offspring’s quality of lives, and this sort of phenomenon definitely should be changed. Even though the whole world has campaign people to recycle the trash, using your own bag instead of plastic bag, taking public transportation rather than driving your own car, and so forth. Nonetheless, I think everyone, including me, in this globe has responsibility to look after our home, and respect other animals’ lives.
