Personal Field Trip

Notes:

  1. There were a lot of wealthy people in the store, and most of them are over forty years old.
  2. Each floor serves different customer base, and has different decorations, and varied kinds of cloths.
  3. Menswear and womenswear are separate, men is on the north side, women is on the south side.
  4. There were more people in menswear section than womenswear section.
  5. There were not many people are trying either clothes or shoes, but most of people were browsing.
  6. There were a lot of teenagers on the 8th floor and 9th floor, which are more trendy, and less expensive stuffs.

After I went to Barneys New York, where I really want to work in the future, I found out that I have more sense, and understand their decorations. Each display has different purpose to attract varied customers. I also observed they will change the decoration every few weeks or months, which might wants to give clients a fresh and new experience. Furthermore, I especially love the spacious room, I really like the atmosphere over there, it was really comfy and felt like I was in the museum, and browsing all the art piece.
