Int. Studio 2 Visual Culture: 14 Days 2 Rules

 

Throughout the 14 days, my subject of the pieces have changed several times. Since my rules was to use watercolor for my imaginary drawings, I kept my drawings to be fantasy-like. However, from around the end of the first week, I started to lose interest in my initial theme so I decided to change it up a little bit. Since it was my first attempt in creating an abstract piece with watercolor, the colors and designs did not go as I thought it would but it was good to know what I am currently capable of and what I am not. From there, I went back to my initial theme for a day but once again returned in attempt to expand my capabilities and techniques throughout the course of this assingment. Although my abstract watercolor works are not as strong as my acrylic pieces, I feel satisfied that I now have a basic understanding of the medium.
