Patterns ( prototype)
These pictures are my prototype made with Musline. My first wearable piece is a halter-neck style croptop.
Two darts were made to represent the curved shape of the chest.
This is the fabric for my Emsemble 1.
Actually, this fabric is not my first choice. I bought more stretch fabric with stripes before. But I had hard time to managing the fabric due to its flexibility. So, I changed the cloth shown in the photo above that is more rigid fiber than the previous one.
4. reflection on this process.
In the process of making first ensemble, I enjoyed a lot since I am interested in making tight and fit clothes rather than loose fit style. My first top is completely designed to be fitted into body. So, drafting into body form was a most enjoyable part in this work. On the other hand, the hardest part during making it was to choose color and fabric for the top.
