These pictures are my prototpye for 3rd garment.
These are the in-process pictures of making 3rd ensemble. In fact, I planned to make 3rd one with thick and rigid fabric. However, I failed to find out cloth that I want to use. So, I decided to reuse the prototype as my last ensemble. The cardboard has perfect hardness that I want. So I painted them with a black acrylic, leaving one inch.
After finishing coloring the layer, to make it look more complete, I put a transparent PVC fabric on the top of the cardboard.
Short reflection
For the first and second ensembles, I used fabrics and sewing with the patterns that I made. However, for the last ensemble, I didn’t use any fabric and didn’t do any kind of sewing for it. Rather, I painted the outer layer with the acrylic color. It was a new experience to be able to make one wearable with a completely new material, not a typical process of making clothes in general. Also, I felt that it was easier and quicker to use cardboard than to make it with cloth.
