Fashion-kind military belt
The object I made was a fashion kind of military belt. The reason I chose it was because I used to live with my grandparents when I was little, and I remember my grandpa’s military belt that hung up in the wall. I used silver-color chains to add a sense of metallic and to somehow relate to the military belt. The zippers down below were more related to my childhood memory that my grandma did a lot of sewing, zippers were commonly seen at home. It was a significant object for my grandpa, so I wanted to create it from my perspective and interpret my own thoughts.
