I went to the American Museum of Natural History to draw various dinosaurs on display. I learned to really focus on the fluidity of my lines and not focus so much on the cohesiveness of them. I think I did fairly well in insinuating body and mass in my drawings. However, I think I could have done better in varying the thickness of my lines and therefore making the pieces more interesting as a whole.
If I was to do this again or take what I’ve learned and apply it to another project I think I would focus more heavily on variation of line in my drawing.
