From our figure drawing sketches, we learned how to bring them into Illustrator and create collages out of them. We focused primarily on integrating both positive and negative space in a way that was interesting and cohesive.

After learning those skills, we chose images of people we thought were interesting alongside landscapes we felt could help convey an emotion. We then brought them into Illustrator and learned how to integrate the landscape into the figure. From there we were told to select some sort of background and play with its color, texture and so on. I’ve been sick lately, so my first thought was for the background images to all align under the theme of diseases.
