I created an informational booklet on the exploitation of American famers. A majority of farmworkers in the United States are undocumented immigrants and are subjected to harmful pesticides, exhaustive work hours, and taxing labor in the broiling heat. They are severely underpaid, and often go uncared for by healthcare professionals due to their immigrant status. For this project, I wanted to peel back the canvas curtain of American agriculture and recognize the men and women who help grow the produce and nourish a nation.
