In this project, I made pants to create a system of making garments by using scrap fabrics that are wasted in fashion industries.
This pants is a model of how design works in scrap fabrics, so I used fabrics that were going to through away, then I collected fabrics to create my own design.
The fabric that I used is denim and polyester, these are not recyclable, so it will go to the landfill if we do not use it, so I tried to remake a new design by using these fabrics that are not recyclable.
In the process of making this pants, pattern making was harder than I expected, because of the limitation of fabrics that I could use. Although it was challenging for me to make pants, I really enjoyed the process and think about the pattern and construction of it.
