This series is based on the idea of my friends room, originate from the word of “crystal ring” then it expanded to the concept of  cell,reflection,veins,geometric shape and pattern.

although all of these were not really realted to each other,I tried to experiment with yarns which were not my most familiar meterial, and also digital,to create my works.

And so on, after finishing my works, the result naturally came out to be related to fashion

cell-

this work was created by fabrics and was went over the machine with a mixture of yarns, fabrics and so on.

veins-

this is a costume design inspired by the concept of veins, the way how it layover each other was base on the shape of a heart.

reflection –

This digital collage work was created by iPhone, which was our most frequently use daily object. Considering using an app to create visual images may be a future trend that  will be continue growing in the future.The photo that I use to create the collage was based on my selfie that was reflected on the metal piece in the bathroom, the picture was reconstructed and turned into an abstract puece by using line camera.

 

Geometricshape

This is a price that I worked on for the most, which was using a loom to weave out geometric shape on a yarn made wall decoration.

The price was not yet fully completed,however,the purpose of creating a geometric shape was there.

 

pattern

Originally my idea is to use the knitting machine to create patterns,but due to time limits, I finally decided to make a digital scarf design using the photo of my cell piece.

The result turned out to be fine but it can always be improved.
