I have arrived at this point in my project by just thinking and crocheting. I have decided to scale it down slightly from my initial plans with the deadline in mind. My challenges so far have been trying to figure out how to create the contours of my face, as well as trying to figure out how I am going to affix the separate parts such as my eyes, lips, and glasses to the head seeing as I want to use a different type of yarn. So far I have made crude eye holes and I have began the bridge of the nose. In my making I just have to keep pushing through to form the one solid shape, and for the research I have to experiment with attaching two separate crocheted entities. I have discovered how this specific type of yarn changes as I manipulate the loops and forms.
